Kokorekin Aleksey Alekseevich

Soviet schedule. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1956). Winner of two Stalin Prizes (1946, 1949). He created thematic paintings, illustrations, and landscapes. Known mainly as a poster artist. In his political posters he embodied the courageous, strong-willed characters of the Soviet people, turning to large-scale images and picturesque color schemes. In 1941-1943 he was an artist at the Military Publishing House under the Main Political Directorate of the Soviet Army and Navy, and since 1943 he was an artist at the Studio of Military Artists named after M. B. Grekov. Participated in the release of TASS Windows.
