Belkov Yuriy Sergeevich

Honored Art Worker of Mariyskaya ASSR Laureate of Olyk Ipay prize of Mariysk Comsomol. Member of Artists’ Union of Russia since 1964. Graduated the Ivanov School (1953), master of portrait and landscape. The artist stays at the very beginning of the professional art of Mariysk, one of the organizers of Mariysk department of Artists’ Union of Russia (1961) By his active and social work Y.S. Belkov helps the development and consolidation of realistic art. Y.S. Belkov’s pictures are presented in museums and private collections of Russia, The Mariy El Republic, in foreign collections in USA, France, India and Finland.
