Bogdesko Iliya Trofimovich

People's Artist of the USSR, member - correspondent of the Academy of Arts of the USSR , State Prize of the Moldavian SSR . In 1951 graduated St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin, studied at K.I. Rudakov , S.V. Priselkov, G.D. Yepifanova . He worked mainly in the book charts , illustrated and designed the Russian , Moldovan and foreign literature . Author of several easel graphic series , as well as paintings and monumental murals . Worked in the techniques of pore drawings, watercolors , linocuts , etchings on copper and others for a series of linocuts and illustrations of the tale Creanga " Purse with money " was awarded the State Prize of the Moldavian SSR in 1970 . awarded the Gold Medal of the USSR Academy . Awarded the Order of the October Revolution, two Orders of the Red Banner, medals of the USSR .
