Blokhin Ivan Semenovich

Studied in Moscow at at the Studio of A.P. Bolshakov, then at school of F.I. Rerberg and V.N. Meshkov, in the VKhutemas Higher School of Arts (till 1922). Steady participant of the exhibitions since 1925. In 1920’th was keen of cubism. Was one of the founders of the “Amalgamation” Art group jointly with Petrovitchev, Turjansky and Leblan. Blokhin’s works has been exposed nearly in all the MOSSH, including in Kislovodsk, Yalta and Evpatoria (in 1937-1938). Personal exhibition was held in 1959 in Moscow. The Artist’s works are kept in the State Tretiakov Gallery and many regional museums
