Vasilyev Vasiliy Vasilyevich

External student of Academy of Arts. In 1851 got the title of non-class artist, in 1858 – the title of the academician. Painted icons for the churches in Petersburg, Warsaw, Florence, Nice. In 1875-1878 published the journal “Sketches of the Architecture and art Industry” in Petersburg and created ornaments therefor. The artist’s works are exhibited in the State Tretyakov Gallery, in many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
