Volkov Efim Efimovich

Volkov Efim Efimovich (1844, Saint Petersburg - 1920, Petrograd).

Academician. Member of the Association of Itinerant Art Exhibitions. Studied at the Painting School of the Artists Encouragement Society, then attended the Academy of Arts as a non credit student. In 1879 traveled to Crimea together with I.I. Shishkin. In 1888 traveled around Turkey, Syria, Palestine, Egypt and Greece. The artist’s works can be found in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum and many regional museums.
