Galkin Ilya Savvich

Russian painter close to itinerants, master of household and parade portrait. Studied at the painting school under the Society for the Encouragement of Artists, since 1883 - a non-credit student of the Academy of Arts. In 1983 was awarded the title of the II class artist. Took part in exhibitions of the Academy of Arts, the St. Petersburg Society of Painters since 1887. His artworks can be found in the State Tretyakov Gallery.
