Granovskiy Samuel

Granovskiy Samuel (1889, Yekaterionslavl – 1942).

Studied at Odessa Academy of Arts. In 1900 moved to Paris where he mastered sculpturing and painting. Mostly depicted folks and their life. Among the Montparnasse artistic circle Granovskiy was counted for one of the most flamboyant person. Was arrested in July 1942 and sentenced to forced labor camp.
