Eliseev Anatoly Mikhailovich (1930)

Soviet and Russian graphic artist, illustrator and cartoonist, actor. People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2001). He graduated from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute in 1952, immediately after graduation he took up book illustration; he drew a lot of cartoons and satirical sketches, which were published by the Crocodile magazine and other publications; collaborated with the popular children's magazines "Murzilka" and "Funny Pictures", created sketches for the theater. In book illustration until 1970, Eliseev worked closely with the artist M.A. Skobelev. The works of Anatoly Eliseev are often exhibited at exhibitions and fairs of book art, both in Russia and abroad; repeatedly received prizes and awards; illustrated by Eliseev Samuil Marshak's book "Mail" brought the artist a diploma of the first degree at the All-Russian competition "The Art of the Book" (1967).
