Johann-Baptist Lampi the (1751, Southern Tirol – 1830, Vienna).

Italian painter. Received professional art education in Saltsburg. Worked in Verona and Trienta (created altar pictures), during 1792-87 worked in St. Petersburg. Also created court and intimate portraits, as well as paintings devoted to religious, mythological and allegorical subjects. His works can be found in art collections of Vienna, Saltsburg, Budapest, Prague, Warsaw, Krakow, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
