Konovalova Alexandra Sergeevna

Graphic artist, Russian modern artist. She studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture under M. Vrubel, I. Nivinsky, A. Shekhtel. After graduation, together with his friends P. Kuznetsov and N. Sapunov, he actively participates in exhibitions held by the “Blue Rose” symbolist association. The watercolors of the artist are devoted to fabulous and mythological themes, a poetic look at nature and people. It was evicted to Chukotka in the 30s, where, according to the call of time, she worked in a realistic manner, the themes of the works became earthly, concrete. One of the first in painting turned to the culture of the peoples of the Far North.
