Kаmensky Boris Mikhailovich

Kаmensky Boris Mikhailovich (1883, St. Petersburg – 1942, Perm).

Until 1919, he studied under K. Juon and I. Dudin in Moscow. In 1916, the Academy of Arts licensed him to teach drawing at secondary schools. He lived and worked in Moscow (until 1925.), in Leningrad (1925 to 1941), until he was evacuated to Perm in 1941. First exhibited in 1909, he participated in exhibitions of the Moscow Society of Artists, the Moving Art Exhibitions Association, the World of Art, and the Artists’ Society. Boris Kamensky’s works are in the Russian Museum, the Uzbekistan State Museum of Fine Arts, Ryazan Regional Art museum, and in private collections.
