Konstantinopolskiy Adolph Markovich

Konstantinopolskiy Adolph Markovich (born in 1924, Harkov).

Honored Artist of Ukraine 1974. Studied at Harkov Painting School (1940-1941), in the State Painting Institute (1948-1954) under Y. V. Balanovskiy, G.A. Tomenko. Made a diploma work “ Funeral Days”, (“ People’s Grief” under S.F. Besedin). He was the participant of the exhibitions since 1954. The works of Konstantinopolskiy were presented at the exhibitions in Canada (1962), Italy (1975). His one-man shows took place in Harkov in 1974 and 1983, in Kiev in 1975. He participated in the creation of the picture “ October Revolution” for the main pavilion of VDNH of UUSR (1958) and the diorama “The Dnepr Forming and building of the platform in Lutizh near Kiev” He lectured in Harkov Painting School (1954-1956), in Harkov Painting Industrial School in 1960. His masterpieces are presented in the Ukraine Museum of Great Republic War, Harkov Art Museum, in Ternopol and Krivoiy Rog Museums.
