Kremer Veniamin Veniaminovich (1899-1977).

Veniamin Kremer belonged to the Leningrad circle of artists. In his young years he lived in Tsarskoye Selo. Kremer enjoyed no regular training as artist. Instead, he benefited from the advice of P. Chistyakov (1832-1919), one of the most outstanding teachers at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg. Veniamin Kremer was a friend of K. Rozhdestvensky with whom he also worked together. He was the art director of the Soviet exhibition pavilion in the 1939 New York World's Fair. The artist’s works are in a number of regional museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
