Lukomskiy Georgy Kreskentevich (1884, Kaluga — 1952, Nice).

Born in Kaluga. Studied at P. Sychev’s school, Orel, 1890s; at Ya. S. Goldblat’s studio-school, St. Petersburg, 1901; at Kazan Art School until 1903; at Imperial Academy of Arts (architecture) 1903 -15 (including some interruption of study). Active in St. Petersburg until 1918 (travelled extensively in Western Europe 1904-09, in Russia 1909 – 14); in Ukraine 1918-20; in Constantinople 1920-21; in Berlin 1921-24; in Paris from 1925; in England from 1940. Exhibited with Union of Russian Artists 1909 (ex. 7); New Society of Artists 1912-17; World of Art 1910s. Important shows include first Izdebski salon 1909-10. Best known as a graphic artist. Also an art critic, architectural historian. Died in Nice, France.
