Paramonov Aleksandr Nikitich (1874 – 1949).
Graduated Central Technical Drawing School of baron A.L. Shtiglits in St.-Peteresburg entitled to travel abroad. was in Paris in 1899-1900, where got acquainted with French artist L.B. Perrault. A.A. Paramonov draw a copy of the famous artwork of the French artist “Italian girl with a violin” with assent in 1899.
On return from France was an auditor in Imperial Art Academy in Saint-Petersburg (studio of professor Mate V.V.).
In 1905 moved to Ekaterinburg, where he held classes in Artistic-industrial school. In 1917-1918es worked as a principal there. Paramonov A.N. was prisoned during Kolchak’s occupation of the city. After release headed Supreme state art studios. Established Ural branch of Revolutionary Russia Artists Association in 1925 in Sverdlovsk.
Worked a lot in local press, particularly for the publisher “Uralbook” before leaving to Moscow in 1928.
A.N. Paramonov’s works are kept in Russian State museum, the Russian Academy of Fine Arts Museum in Saint-Petersburg.
