Godlevski I.I (presumptively) Ivan Ivanovich (1908, Poltava province - 1998).

During 1927-1931 studied at Kiev Art Institute, then at Repin’s Institute (1936-1941). Worked in the A.A. Osmerkin’s personal art studio. Worked at his diploma project under the supervision of V.M. Oreshnikov. Participated in exhibitions since 1940. In 1991 moved to Paris. His one-man shows took place in Leningrad (1961), Lvov (1963), Paris (1991), Madrid, Germany, Antwerp. I.I. Godlevski’s works can be found in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Metropolitan Museum (New York) and many museums of Russia and abroad.
