Petrov Yuriy Dmitrievich

In 1950 he graduated from the Moscow City Art Studio for disabled veterans of the Patriotic War of the Department of Arts of the Moscow City Executive Committee. He studied with famous artists - K.Yuon, I.Gurvich, B. and G.Smirnovykh, G.Ryazhsky, I.Rubanov. During the Second World War he fought on the 2nd Baltic front, was commander of the division of machine-gunners. He had military awards. Since 1954 he participated in exhibitions. In 1958 he became a member of the MOSSH. I went on numerous creative trips to Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan), the Altai and the Far East. He was awarded with diplomas and diplomas of the Moscow Union of Artists of the RSFSR, IHO KhF RSFSR. Works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
