Perov Alexander Petrovich

Perov Alexander Petrovich (1936 - 2008).

People's Artist of Uzbekistan. Born in Chimkent in a large family of Russian immigrants, lived and died in Tashkent. As a schoolboy, he attended the art studio at the Palace of Pioneers. He studied at the Republican Art College. P. Benkov (1950-1955) and at the painting department of the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute. A.N. Ostrovsky (1959-1965) with Rakhim Akhmedov and Alexander Krivonos. Served in the Black Sea Fleet (1956-1959). He taught at RCU them. P. Benkova (1958-1969), TTHI them. A.N. Ostrovsky (1969-1974) and the Republican Art School (1974-1995). Internship at the Leningrad Academy of Arts (1973) in the workshop of E.E. Moiseenko. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1967) and the Creative Association of Artists at the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Uzbekistan (1997). Participant of republican, all-Union and international exhibitions (1965-2004), including the All-Union art exhibition "USSR - our Motherland" to the 50th anniversary of the formation of the USSR in Moscow (1972).
