Petrov Vladimir Mitrofanovich

Petrov Vladimir Mitrofanovich (1920, Astrakhan – 1996).

Studied at Astrakhan Art College (1934-39), Riga Academy of Arts. Lived and worked in Tashkent since 1949. Gave lessons at Tashkent Art College (1949-86). Known as an outstanding master of the Uzbekistan 1950-s social realism. The artist’s works are exposed in many regional museums and private collections.
