Pisemski Aleksei Aleksandrovich (1859 - 1913).

Painter of landscapes. During 1878-1887 studied at Imperial Academy of Arts. Was awarded three small and two big silver medals. Graduated with a third degree of the "unclassed artist". In 1888 was promoted to the second degree for his pictures ("Hornbeam Forest", “In the Park”, “In the Country”, “Summer Day”, etc.) offered for academic exhibition. Participated in exhibitions of the Society of Russian Watercolorists since it had been founded. Regularly exhibited with the Association of Itinerant Art Exhibitions. The artist's works can be found in the Tretyakov State Gallery and other museum collections.
