Raskina Ekaterina Valerianovna

Raskina Ekaterina Valerianovna (1925, Arkhangelsk – 1995, Moscow).

During 1947-1953 Raskina E.V. studied at architectural faculty of Kiev Art Institute under Yablonskaya, Shovkunenko. Worked as a poster artist. Participated in all-Soviet, republic and zonal exhibitions. During 1960-1970 had a shot with linoleum engraving. Constantly experimented with painting techniques, combined gouache with elements of cut or ragged paper. In 1970 she created a mosaic panel for the cinema theatre named after A. Dovzhenko, as well as decorative bas-reliefs for “Gastronom” store in collaboration with Tatyana Yablonskaya. Her personal exhibition took place in Kiev, 1993. The artist’s works are displayed in many regional museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
