During 1912-1917 studied in Stroganov College of Arts and Crafts and Free Art Studios, Moscow (1917-1920). Created over 300 promotional posters to movies by S.M. Eisenstein, V.I. Pudovkin, D. Vertov, and Ch. Chaplin. During 1932-1962 V.A. Stenberg was the main artist of the Red and the Soviet Square, Moscow.
