Sevastyanov Ivan Vasilevich (1920 - 2004)

Theatrical artist. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1955). People's Artist of the RSFSR (1960). He created sketches of scenery for various theatrical productions. in 1941 - 1952 - production designer of the Saratov Opera and Ballet Theatre. In 1963-1981 he was the chief artist of the Leningrad State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. S. M. Kirov. I.V. Sevastyanov in his work continued the traditions of Russian theatrical and decorative art, a characteristic feature of which was immersion in the dramaturgy and music of performances. The highest visual culture, deep knowledge of the material made his theatrical work independent. Sevastyanov I.V. created about 200 theatrical productions as an artist. Personal exhibitions of Sevastyanov I.V. were held in Moscow (1971, 2009) and Saratov (1991).
