Sergeev Nikolai Alexandrovich

He studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts under L. Lagorio. In the eighties of the XIX century, the artist writes a lot, participates in exhibitions of the Academy of Arts, does a lot of work to promote the fine arts in the interior of the country. Artistic and social activities of N.A. Sergeev was appreciated: in 1887 he received the title of honorary free member of the Academy of Arts, in 1889 he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav, 3rd degree, to encourage activities in the artistic field. In 1910 N.A. Sergeev became an academician of landscape painting. He introduced elements of the genre into landscapes. One of the works is kept in the State Russian Museum.
