Sokolova Tatyana Mikhaylovna

Sculptor. Honored artist of RSFSR (1980). Full member of Academy of Arts. Chairperson of the Board of the USSR Union of Artists (1988-1992). Studied at Stroganov Moscow higher artistic and industrial school under G.I. Motovilov and S.L. Rabinovich. Got a silver medal of Academy of Arts (1983). Personal exhibitions of the sculptor were held in Moscow (1974, 1990), Vienna (1980). The works of the sculptor are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian State Museum, the Russian Union of Artists, in many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
