At the 8th of April at ‘Sovcom” gallery by the auction ends the exhibition of “Tkachevs and their apprentices”. More than 100 Tkachev’s pictures will be presented at the auction as well as the pictures of other 26 artists.

The academicians Alexey and Sergey Tkachevs are the People’s artists of USSR, the teachers of the school of Soviet planerizm, easel with a lightened colour and undidactic subject, the grass is turning green, the sun is shining… More than 30 years they lead the creative studio at the Academy of Arts; among their apprentices, orthodox picture collectors, there is for example an ambivalent figure like Ivan Dmitriev from a young conceptualists group “Russia”.
