The SOVCOM Art Gallery has timed its grand auction to the XXI Russian Antique Saloon, which is currently opened in the Central House of Artists. This auction of XX century Russian Art – an event, that should not be missed by antiquary lovers, will be on October 28th.
The SOVCOM Art Gallery has timed its grand auction to the XXI Russian Antique Saloon, which is currently opened in the Central House of Artists. This auction of XX century Russian Art – an event, that should not be missed by antiquary lovers, will be on October 28th. Visitors will be offered 190 lots (works of art, graphical art, sculpture, minor arts): works by itinerants, representatives of Paris School, avant-gardists, social realists. Among top-lots is a three meter long canvas “Three Nymphs” by Nickolay Milioti (posted price is $1 mln.), the decorative panel “Workers of the World Unite!” by Kazimir Malevich ($280-300.000). These works are ones of the most expensive. Starting prices of most pictures to be brought to the hammer do not exceed $50.000.
