A new exhibition dedicated to the classic period of the Soviet painting—the socialist realism of the 1930s-1980s—is on at Sovcom Gallery. It features over 100 works, all the genres from the portrait to the landscape and the works of iconic painters and drawers. Among the exhibited works are The Still Life with Gladioli painted with rich thick strokes by Igor Radoman, a characteristic rural landscape It’s warm. Shigino Village by Vladimir Stozharov and the awakening nature in the spring by Vitold Byalynitsky-Birulya, the easily recognizable St. Petersburg-Leningrad by Academician Andrey Tutunov and the Moscow views by Boris Okorokov and Nikolay Gorlov. You can also see the portraits of the wife and genre paintings by Georgy Savitsky.

The exhibition also includes separate pictures to be offered at Sovcom sales throughout the year.
