Antonov Sergey Georgievich

Painter and graphic artist. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1985). Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1978). Member of the Studio of military artists named after M.B. Grekov. Graduated from the Higher Pedagogical Department of the Moscow Art and Industrial School naned after M.I. Kalinin (1956). Since 1960, he has been a participant in all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. He was awarded the jubilee medal "For Valiant Labor" (1970), the Certificate of Honor of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR (1985). The artist's paintings and engravings were shown at exhibitions in Hungary, Poland, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Burma, Somalia, Finland, France, Yugoslavia.
