Soviet and Russian painter, master of easel painting. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1996), awarded with the Order of Honor (2012). Graduated from the Rostov Art College named after M.B. Grekov in the class of painting. Since 1980, he worked at the Studio of Military Artists named after Grekov. The author of the paintings: "Defenders of the peaceful sky (To intercept)", "Storm of the village of Akhulgo", "Russian army in the Caucasus", "Lineists", "Gorsky", "1812", "Storm of Ekaterinodar", "Tsushima battle". Author of dioramas: "The capture of the Tatsinskaya airfield by General Badanov’s tankers", "The liberation of Riga in October 1944", co-authored: "Konstantinovsky ravelin", "Last battles at cape Khersones", "Landing in the Northern Bay".
