Graphic artist, cartoonist, poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists and the Union of Journalists of the USSR. Known as the author of political and social posters. The works of J. V. Efimovsky are in the State Historical Museum in Moscow, in the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, the Rybinsk State Historical-Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve, in the Tchaikovsky Art Gallery in the Perm Territory, in galleries in Moscow and St. Petersburg, private collections.
