"Soviet Artist" - publishing house of the Union of Artists of the USSR, Moscow. Founded in 1946 at the Organizing Committee of the Union of Soviet Artists; in 1964 it was merged with Izogiz and was part of the press committee of the USSR Council of Ministers. It had a branch in Leningrad. In 1969 it was reorganized with the creation of the specialized publishing house Aurora on the basis of the Leningrad branch.
