Kalmykov Grigory Odiseevich (1873-1942)
Russian landscape painter. In 1889 he was a student of I.K. Aivazovsky in Feodosia. In 1895 he received the title of class artist of the 3rd degree, and in 1897 - the title of artist. In 1900, a personal exhibition took place in St. Petersburg, in 1901 he demonstrated his work in Munich. Since 1910 he was a member of the society. Kuindzhi. He lived in St. Petersburg (Leningrad). He painted mainly landscapes on a marine theme, often traveled to the Crimea. In the 1930s. wrote several paintings for the Museum of the Arctic and Antarctic and for the Museum of the Leningrad Mining Institute. The works are presented in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, etc.
