Ushin Andrey Alekseevich (1927–2005)
Schedule. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. He worked as a stage designer for M.P. Zandin (1940s), helped to restore the scenery for the Opera and Ballet Theater. S.M. Kirova (1945). After the war, he continued his studies at the School of Art, then studied at the Leningrad Art School on Tavricheskaya Street. Since 1948 he was an animator at the film studio "Lennauch-Film". Created many paintings, etchings, woodcuts. An outstanding master of linocut. Since 1953 - participant of art exhibitions. Laureate of the World Festivals of Youth and Students in Moscow (1957), Helsinki (1962), as well as the White Nights Arts Festival in Leningrad (1968). The artist's works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
