* Drachinskaya Vera Semenovna

Soviet sculptor, artist. She studied at the drawing school of The society for the encouragement of arts in Petrograd (1913-1917) and VKhUTEMAS (1917-1924). The teachers were the sculptor G. R. Zaleman and his pupil M. G. Manizer. She worked mainly with plaster, specializing in the portrait genre. In sculpture of small forms (porcelain) V. S. Drachinskaya is the author of models: "Laika" (1947), "shepherd" (1947 and 1950), "Bulldog" (1948), "Yunnatka with Jeyran" (1957), "Kid" (1967). A member of the Union of artists of the USSR, from 1949 to 1958 she taught at LVHPU.
