Mann The exposition “The space of inspiration” opens on the 1-th of November in the “Sovcom” gallery. For the first time Russian art lovers could see more than 30 paintings of artist Elena Iljicheva from Odessa. Iljicheva adheres to traditional views. She doesn’t gasp by a throat, doesn’t express herself paradoxes. Her artistic language is clear, harmonious and accessible. She is faithful to mission of classics: she perceives the world through beauty and culture and accede to master of advance-guard Picasso: “We cannot go against the nature, it is much stronger than the strongest of us. In our interests not to corrupt these relationships. We can allow some liberties, but only in details!” For the first glance she repeats the way of many famous woman-artist, who began as a painter of still life. Than she changed her genre into those one witch always was for a men’s prerogative - womanish nature. She introduces a new prospect, that gives woman’s view. The way that she draws her models makes us love them. She likes luxury dressed women much more than naked: hats, fur, jewellery and thousands little things – that is what creates unique woman’s appearance. Elena inverted the laws of paintings. She puts a canvas on the floor, squeezes out paints from tubes and rubs them. Than she puts a canvas on an easel and creates a picture using all fingers, without mediator – a brush. She fills it with her own energy. She is unique because of her views of colors. It is usual for south Ukraine art school, especially for Odessa. The name of exposition speaks by itself : “The space of inspiration”. It immerses a person into unthinkable spaces, where a fantasy is an ordinary phenomenon, you can feel yourself as an artist. And an artist transforms into an actor and producer of a new world. Inspiration is an overfill feeling. Near a creative man your soul rests from the fuss and rises above vital problems.
