Exhibition

The season auction exhibition is open from the 5th till the 18th of March 2019.

The exhibition exposes more than 100 works of famous Russian, Soviet painters and graphic artists. The string of Russian art opens with works of A.N. Benois and M.V. Dobuzhinsky with a very attractive estimate. In the painting section, the works of V.D. Polenov, K.I. Gorbatov, D.S. Stelletsky.

The section of Soviet genre paintings is very extensive. "Opening of the Volga-Don Canal" by P.A. Krivonogov, "Kerch fishermen" by I.D. Chashnikov immediately draws everyone’s attention. Standards of the national art school of the second half of the twentieth century - E.I. Zverkov, Yu.P. Kugach, E.G. Bragovsky, K.M. Maksimov. There is a work of D.A. Nalbandyan at the auction, which was published in the catalog, that was released for the 100th anniversary of the artist.

The most relevant topics are joy of work, sports, views of Moscow and St. Petersburg. Also, we draw your attention to a rare lot - engraving on silk fabric made at the plant of Y.M. Sverdlov in memory of the 800th anniversary of Moscow city, that was gifted to a chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR N.M. Shvernik in 1947 with a cover letter by G.M. Popov. Nonconformism is represented by such well-known names as - А.Т. Zverev, V.N. Nemukhin, V.I. Yakovlev.
