On December 06, the Sovcom Gallery will open a pre-auction exhibition Auction 169, which will take place on December 14 at 19.00. More than 150 lots are presented at the auction - objects, graphics, porcelain, mainly of the 20th century.
Among the top lots of the auction are works by Dmitry Nalbandyan, Yakov Khaimov, Marevna, Ernst Neizvestny, Natalia Nesterova, a selection of porcelain figures and works on New Year's themes.
One of the masterpieces of the exhibition and the upcoming auction is a painting by Dmitry Arkadyevich Nalbandyan "Melting Snow" 1958. On the canvas presented at the auction, Nalbandian shows himself as a master of depicting a winter landscape.
The artwork of Marevna should also be noted. The paired watercolor portrait on cardboard is written out in the maximum detail and authentically, which is facilitated by the use of confident pencil contours, which gives the work an incredibly sonorous and authentic sound.
Several large collections of selected themes or masters will also be richly presented at the auction. And they can also be found in our showrooms. These include: a large string of winter landscapes, represented by the works of Vitold Byalynitsky-Birul, Yuri Kugach, Pavel Starostin, Antonina Romodanovskaya and others; special attention is drawn to the works of Boris Smirnov-Rusetsky and Inna Shirokova, which are vivid examples of painting of the 1970s. Also, the auction will feature numerous and diverse Soviet posters on topics.
The pre-auction exhibition will be held from December 06 to December 13 at st. Shchepkina, 28.
