56 persons took part at the sales, without counting those who bided by telephone or had an absentee bidding. The top-lots of the sales are a wonderful work of B. Anisfeld “Elegy” (153 х 127; 1939), was sold for 205 thousand dollars. For the same high price 180 thousand dollars was sold the work of F. Malyavin “Swings”, (55 x 46). Among important works it should mention the work of D. Burliuk bought in 2005 at Sotheby’s auction “Homage to Courbet”, (78 x 88; sold for 77 thousand dollars), the work of the classic of Sotsrealism S. Grasimov “At field works”, (61 х 121; 1940 -50 –е; 50 thousand dollars), as well as a big picturesque masterpiece of M. Birshtein “Lomonosov shows the mosaic “Poltavskaya battle” to Ekaterina the second”. (180 х 175; 1987; 45 thousand dollars).
