Russian Antique Salon – trends and prospects. The new 2007-2008 antique salon will be held during the first weekend of September. By Dmitriy Butkevich. Moscow News. No. 34.

The large "joint" auction named "Russian and Western European Applied Art" featuring luxury rare books and, probably, coins and medals will be held during the Russian Antique Salon in the Central House of Artist in late October. The auction will include more than three hundred lots with total value approx. $7 mln – which is above the European average. Such auctions will be timed to antique salons and held twice a year. This year we plan to hold 25 auctions, the next year – over 30.
