Vladimir Putin chose a painting from the collection of the SOVCOM Auction House "Miner's Song" by Alexander Zelensky as a gift to the hero of the day, Iosif Kobzon

The well-known painting by Alexander Zelensky "The Miner's Song" was a lot at the Auction No. 146 on March 30, 2017. Today, September 11, 2017, Iosif Davidovich Kobzon became a new owner of the painting. Russian President Vladimir Putin personally handed the picture as a gift for 80 years, during a congratulation in the Kremlin.

The meeting with Iosif Kobzon and Ninel Kobzon took place in an informal setting at tea. The President signed the Decree on awarding Iosif Kobzon with the "For Benefit" decoration. The reward was awarded for active charitable and public activities.
