Russian art of XX century is largely presented at the auction: the catalogue begins with sketches of costumes, made by Aleksandr Benua, founding member of Mir iskusstva and is completed with paintings of the bright representative of the "Left-wing MOSKh" Natalia Nesterova.

However, the core consists of Soviet art, but it is represented very widely: here we can see the works of the classics of socialist realism, and a wonderful selection of views of Moscow and Leningrad, and the lyrical landscapes of artists of the Vladimir school. Among the top lots of the auction is "Interesting radio program" of Lyudmila Skubko-Karpas. There is a meter-size canvas by Alexander Gerasimov, created in 1948 "I.V. Stalin and A.M. Gorky on a walk."

Urban landscapes, images of Moscow and Leningrad of 1940-1960 in the first place, take a particular place. Another direction of collecting is traditionally bright, expressive village landscapes of Vladimir masters. There is a small selection dedicated to the topic of sports.

In the catalog of the winter auction, along with paintings and art drawings, you can find sculptures, and the most various ones.

In addition, on February 8 at the "Sovсom" auction you can purchase works of non-conformists, as well as artists of the "new wave".
