The graphics of Russian artists are distinguished by outstanding achievements in the world history of art. The principles of Russian graphics were established in the 18th – 19th centuries and developed to its’ maximum in the 20th century. The collection of graphics of the 20th century is the biggest one in our funds where one can follow the development of Russian graphics from the traditions established by the movement “World of Art”, the Itinerants and the Union of Russian Painters to the present day. The basic principles of Russian graphics are the feeling of uniqueness and the beauty of every moment, the high level of professional graphics culture.

The collection of late 20th century graphics is defined by the variety of authors’ attitudes towards the search for themes and styles and the technical performance. In that regard, the drawings and watercolors of the 1970 - 1980’s artists stand out. The “Sovkom” gallery possesses works of the leading masters of graphics of that period.

Buy Russian graphics. Very often, the fact of the choice itself already means aesthetic valuation. A collector buys what in his or her opinion has unfading artistic value. Besides knowledge and expertise, a collector should have great insight, a sharp eye and pure taste. We believe that the works we offer our clients meet all these demands. Among various art movements in our collection the movement “World of Art” is mostly highlighted, with its works of Alexander and Albert Benoit, K. Bogaevsky, D. Kardovsky, B. Kustodiev, F. Malyavin, N. Roerich, as well as Art Nouveau in Russian graphics. We would like to mention, that many works have been preserved in their authentic frames. It is especially important for Art Deco and Art Nouveau graphic works, where portraits, landscapes, retrospective compositions have decorative effect and an incline for symbolic ambiguity.

Russian avant-garde in graphics is represented by a big collection of A. Ekster, A. Lapin, unknown artists, whose works have the spirit of suprematism, constructionism, futurism and cubo-futurism.
Russian folk graphics is represented by works of Glinka, Kardovsky, Malyavin, Yakunchikova.
We have works of great Russian graphic artists in our collection, such as I. Repin, K. Savitsky, I. Shishkin, N. Roerich, I. Golovin, A. Benoit. Their portraits, landscapes, retrospective compositions have decorative effect and an incline for symbolic ambiguity.

Sell Russian graphic works. This is one of the most frequent questions we receive.
We purchase the following types of Russian graphic works in our collection: original and printed graphic works of the 18-20th century, Russian landscape graphics, and ancient watercolors.
