Adrion Lucien

Adrion Lucien (1889, Strasbourg– 1953, Paris).

He studied technical drawing in Strasburg in 1905-1908. Worked as a Fashion magazines illustrator in Paris, London, Munich and Frankfurt. The artist was a student of German von Stuck in engraving since 1918 (one of M. Chagall’s mentors) in Berlin. First series of lithography gave him fame in Europe. In 1921 he signed a contract with Sheron Gallery in Paris, where he had his first solo exhibition. The artist was a friend of P. Kremen, Kh. Sutin, M. Kikoin. Together with P. Signac arranged a big exhibition of French artists in Berlin in 1926. Exhibited at Autumn Salon and Tuileries Salon.
