Aralova-Peterson Vera Ipolitovna

Aralova-Peterson Vera Ipolitovna (1911, Vinnitsa – ?).

A theatre and graphic artist. She studied in the Moscow Art School (1926-1930). The artist has been participating in exhibitions since 1948. She painted settings for the performances of Moscow theatres, made dress sketches for movies and has been working as a fashion artist for the All-Union Fashion House since 1948. She was awarded a gold medal at the Warsaw International Fashion Competition. Her most famous easel paintings are “Hungarian Landscapes” and “Portraits of the 6th World Youth Festival Delegates”. Her works have been repeatedly exhibited in the USA and France.
