Bidstrup Herluf (1912-1988)

Danish cartoonist. Author of over 5 thousand drawings. Known as a master of humorous drawings and national cartoons, travel sketches and comics. Books with drawings by Bidstrup were published in the USSR in huge editions. He was a convinced communist and considered progressive artist in the USSR, because in his cartoons he denounced the capitalist West. Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1972).
