Danilevsky Evgeny Ivanovich

People's Artist of the Russian Federation. He graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute in 1952 in the workshop of battle painting, was a student of the famous academician Moscow painter P. I. Kotov. Since 1952, he worked in Moscow on monumental works for VDNKh, in the pictorial art combine of the Artistic Fund of the RSFSR, from 1962 until the last days - in the Studio of Military Artists named after M. B. Grekov. Participated in most republican and all-Union exhibitions of the 1960-80s. The authors of mass paintings on historical themes - "Battle of Kulikovo", "Dmitry Donskoy", "To the floor of Kulikov", "Tsar", "Ivan the Terrible receives the English embassy", "Triumph of the Poltava victory", etc.
