Zen'kova Raisa Dmitriyevna

Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Born in 1912 year in the village of Grafskoye, Primorsky region, Far Eastern region. Member of World War II (1941-1945) ‚sniper (Order of Glory III degree). She graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I. E. Repin (1949) in the workshop of A. M. Gerasimov, was simultaneously admitted to the Leningrad Union of Soviet Artists. The author of a number of paintings on military-patriotic themes, many portraits, still lifes. Member of the Moscow Union of Soviet Artists since 1953. Member of art exhibitions since 1938. The main works: “S. Kovpak and P. Vershigora "(1967)," Parade of the Red Guards "(1969), Grapes" (1972), "In the front-line forest" (1971), "At the forefront" (1973), (1972), "Scouts" ( 1974), "By the fire" (1975).
