Ignatiev Aleksandr Illarionovich

Landscape painter. People's artist of the Kyrgyz SSR. Winner Of the state prize of the Kyrgyz SSR. Toktogul's. In 1934, he became Deputy Chairman of the Union of artists of Kyrgyzstan. He is known as a master of mountain nature painting and the author of industrial paintings dedicated to the construction of the high-altitude Toktogul HPP. Works are in The State Tretyakov Gallery and other museums, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
